Beware of billing ""department"". Actual trash guy was great. I had signed up for 2 months in advance charged to my credit card (I was told by the gentleman it would be $56), and service was fine. Then I got my renewal statement and noticed I wasn't getting the prorated amount I had already paid for. Contacted the billing lady, Carol, and told her I should be getting more than $5.27 credit for the 5 days of pickup I had paid for. She crunched numbers and told me I should actually be getting $19. I thought great, since I calculated ~$14. I also canceled service because they were also charging for fuel surcharge, and another trash company was much cheaper. I waited for my check and after 4 weeks called the company again. Carol was not in the office, but I was told she would call me back on Monday, which she did. However, when I chatted with her, she ""recalculated"" and said the 2 months of service should have been more than $56 (so evidently the original guy lied to me) and there are surcharges for fuel that seems to fluctuate monthly?!... she came up with a few different numbers… $8.57 then $8.82... I think they need to hire someone that actually can calculate. So if you are looking for a trash company that won’t have hidden costs and set rates that don’t fluctuate, look to another company.
