Absolutely horrific! I initially contacted Carroll for one, repeat ONE, delivery of oil since it is a new home and I did not know how much oil we would go through over the winter. I made it completely clear that I wanted the 1 delivery and that I would pay the bill in full (no budget billing, no repeat deliveries, no nonsense). I am completely appalled to come home and find a $700 bill on my front door because Carroll decided to put me on auto-delivery. I got oil originally delivered in November ($900), here it is March and there goes another $700. Here is the shocking factor - I now have to pay the unplanned bill in FULL - because I am NOT on AUTO Delivery therefore they cannot set up budget billing, but they did give me a $25 coupon - really....UNBELIEVABLE!!! They may have the best price in town, but beware - they will make it up someway and this is how they got me.
I have been a long time Carroll customer and just had them install a new heat pump in my home. Our Comfort Specialist, Eric was knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't feel like we were being talked into something we didn't need and we felt we were quoted a very fair price. The techs arrived when scheduled to install the unit and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. My husband and I were both very pleased with the experience.
