We hired this landscaping and allegedly home improvement company in Fall 2019 for a phased wrap-around set of design projects for the exterior of our colonial. If you like a non-intuitive contractor who doesn’t know how to deal when a professional woman is boss, and who doesn’t know how to listen to details like budget and timeline, go with God. Methinks not. The work is not bad, that’s actually not our complaint. It’s everything before. Dealing with them is torturous. Specific examples include : 1) Design - the design process dragged on, 2) Client relations skills - the budget was not respected in said design, repeatedly and despite reiterations of parameters for both basic and stretch plans, 3) Ethics - the design fee was not honored, as committed, for incremental design phases. Designs were not sent digitally when requested, which frustrated the HOA approval process in HoCo, and 4) Timeline Creep and Communication- this is an area of weakness for this company. Timelines for designs were not met, almost shockingly as if we had to ask them to take our money. We wound up having a soldiered winding front walkway done and were pleased with the results but not with the overall dealing, which was neither smooth nor intuitive nor well-explained, and especially bit because we knew we were paying a premium, 5) Basics - listening to the client is not in their culture. Just keep walking, have a scotch and find another, more worthy provider. In our neck of the woods you can power up your purse for a better value and customer service.
