Summary
The Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP) offers financial support for electric bills by assisting eligible customers in covering a portion of their ongoing electric expenses. Participants in the EUSP are enrolled in a budget billing plan with their utility company. Budget Billing is a utility company-provided mechanism designed to evenly distribute annual utility expenses into monthly payments, thereby mitigating bill fluctuations resulting from seasonal variations in energy consumption. To determine eligibility criteria and obtain information on the utility company's budget billing policy, please consult your respective utility provider.
Eligibility Requirements
- Eligibility can vary depending on the energy service provider. It is recommended to reach out directly to the provider for information.
