AJR installed a boiler that I purchased from a different vendor. They were knowledgeable and did a good job. After installation, a few leaks were found which were quickly repaired. I would recommend them to anyone.
After having 2 other companies come out and neither of them being able to tell me why my Rheem unit was shutting on and off I was finally ref. by a co-worker to call AJR. I was desperate at this point but felt doubtful that anyone was going to be able to find a solution to this unknown problem. I goggled AJR and looked them up on Angie's List and BBB, I found nothing but great reviews so I gave them a call. I was nervous to pay another charge for someone to come out and tell me nothing was wrong, but it seemed they knew exactly the problem by just talking with me over the phone. I was feeling a little more hopeful at this point and they were so confident they could help me that they even waved the diag. fee. I had them out that same day and the problem that was driving me crazy was a simple fix that these other ""well-known"" companies looked right over. Id rate the services a 10 from the secretary that helped me over the phone, the prompt service, the professionalism, and how knowledgeable the technician was . I will be calling AJR from any Heating and cooling needs I have in the future.
Had my spring maintenance done this morning for my home and also my mother's home, as always i have no complaints. Having a service agreement with A.J.R. on my mother's home leaves me with confidence that she will never have to go without AC during the hot season.
I called AJR Heatimg&, AC to get an estimate on replacing my system. Turns out I was calling in to replace a perfectly good system. AJR replaced a few parts leaving me with a bill under $300. compared to the $5000.+ bill I would have paid to replace the system with them. They were very honest and out to make me happy and knowing that id be a returning customer in the furture meant more to them then making quick cash by ripping me off. I appriciate the service i recieved and will be telling all my friends, family and neighbors about the 5+ star service I recieved.
When I quoted for the price of AC service, the company told me the $89 diagnosis fee includes the 1st hour labor. But the technician charged still charged me $120 for the one-hour labor (the technitent worked only 1 hour at my place). I did ask him why I was charged for the labor, he told me he did not know that the labor is included in the diagnosis.I went ahead and paid in full. The next day when I called the company, but they denied that the $89 includes the 1st hour labor. Then they tried to offer my a $30 refund as a deal that I 'won't do anything crazy' (quote). Had AJR come out to my house quickly in the middle of the summer in blistering heat with three whining kids. They were very proffesional and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend to friends. The best thing though was their rates! Kindness was a huge plus. Will call next time I have an emergency for sure.
Great Company with very comparable rates. Was referred to me from a friend and will use again if I need AC service. Definitely recommend.
