Bought a refrigerator from Lowes with service protection. Freezer section never seemed to work right. Have called service 6 times and none of the techs fixed problem. None of the techs even seemed capable of attempting a fix. Called the local Lowes multiple time and end up talking to customer service. Every time you ask for the manager he's out of building and didn't return calls. Called Lowes corporate in NC. Employee there useless and couldn't answer questions. Told me he would leave a note for store manager. Store manager finally called back the next day but didn't resolve anything. Said he would call back. Three days later still nothing. Call back and customer service says Jeff (the manager isn't in building) two different times of day. Fed up with their customer service and especially the service company they use and the crazy rules (can't have 2 service calls within 11 days!?!). I wouldn't need a service call if they fixed the damn thing in first place. Terrible experience overall
Your typical big-store home improvements. Good selection for common items, and good pricing. Compare to Home Depot for big ticket items to get the best pricing.
Much better than the Home Depot! better organized, help is not usually hard to find, though like any other store they have their bad apples. Every once in a while we come across an employee who obviously thinks just being there earns his/her paycheck.But for most visits the experience is a pleasant and helpful, if not even enjoyable experience. Many more remodeling/redecorating ideas/options and a much larger selection and variety of products to choose from.
